SupplySide West 2023 provided AlgaeCytes with the opportunity to engage with industry peers who share our passion for sustainable, natural ingredients.

From October 24 to 27, over 18,000 industry professionals from the dietary supplement, functional food, personal care, and sports nutrition sectors gathered at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. This dynamic event brought together over 1,300 exhibitors showcasing the latest advancements in product development, scientific innovation, and market trends that shape the global health and nutrition landscape. 

Building on the success of last year’s participation at SupplySide West, AlgaeCytes reconnected with existing customers and welcomed new prospects. Attendees had the chance to interact with the company’s range of sustainably-sourced all-natural products. AlgaeCyes showcased their key products, including:

This reflects growing industry trend towards natural and environmentally friendly solutions.

Throughout the event, pivotal themes emerged during our conversations, highlighting the industry’s shifting priorities:

• The demand for Omega-3 is surging due to its critical role in human health and the widespread Omega-3 deficiency in global diets.
• There’s a clear market need for an EPA-only product that can either complement all-natural, vegan DHA or stand-alone in formulations.
• Industry stakeholders are seeking alternatives to fish oil, driven by concerns over declining fish stocks, contamination, and environmental impact.
• Excitement about AlgaeCytes’ production process was evident, as our use of natural freshwater strains and photobioreactors guarantees a fully-traceable, contaminant-free, all-natural product, aligning with the market’s move towards cleaner, sustainably-sourced ingredients.
