Naz Bashir

Naz brings over ten years of management experience in licensing, early stage investment strategies and renewable businesses.  He has success in driving sales from licensing and investment strategies in the biofuels, biochemical and food sectors. 

Naz has held executive roles and raised finance as part of the management team with Zylepsis Limited, a nutraceutical company, Polarmetrix Limited, an oil and gas company, Recombinogen Limited, a biopharmaceutical company, and Cybersense Limited, a biosensor company.  Naz managed a University Seed Fund for the University of Surrey from 2002 to 2007, achieving value through exits and an IPO.  More recently, Naz co-founded Biocadol Limited, a bioethanol company in which he was the Business Development Director and successfully raised an EIS round which led to a corporate investment and M&A . 

Naz has a PhD in Chemistry and an MBA from the University of Exeter.
